Nutrition for #Spring4Change with Scott Forbes, PhD

AZ talked shop with Scott Forbes about basic nutrition principles, nutrition and mental health and how she finally surpassed him on Instagram followers. We are so grateful for him taking time out of his schedule to help us support our mental health initiative.

Scott Forbes, PhD, is an assistant professor at Brandon University in Canada. He’s been recently tenured and promoted (congrats friend!) and he’s an outstanding and dynamic educator. He tells dad level jokes during class that unfortunately, go largely unappreciated.

Anyway…

Dr. Scott Forbes' primary interest is in sport science and he has focused on various nutritional and training interventions to enhance athlete performance. In addition, he has expertise examining nutritional and exercise interventions for optimal muscle and brain health in older adults. He has worked as a personal trainer as well as an athlete consultant for several professional and varsity level sport teams.

Scott has done A LOT of research and published an almost superhuman amount of peer reviewed studies. See below for the other cool things he’s done with his life.
